Dhaka, Mar 21 (V7N) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman urged citizens to cooperate in building the Bangladesh they aspire to see while exchanging Eid greetings with dignitaries and citizens at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday afternoon.
Briefing journalists during the Eid greetings program, the Prime Minister said, “On this Eid, I pray to Allah that we can build the desired Bangladesh. The government will work to run the country according to the people’s aspirations. We will move forward unitedly with everyone.” He also extended his heartfelt Eid greetings to the nation.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman remembered the martyrs of 1971 and 2024 with respect. His wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, daughter Zaima Rahman, family members, and cabinet members were present at the event.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister offered Eid prayers at the National Eidgah Maidan at 8:30 am, joining thousands of worshippers in the country’s main congregational prayer.
