Dhaka, Mar 21 (V7N) – Shehbaz Sharif and Tarique Rahman exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings over the phone, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office of Pakistan, the two leaders held a cordial and sincere telephone conversation on Friday. During the call, Shahbaz Sharif conveyed his warm Eid greetings to Tarique Rahman and the people of Bangladesh.

Recalling the historical and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Pakistani Prime Minister reaffirmed his country’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation in all sectors.

The two leaders also discussed the prevailing regional situation in South Asia and developments in the Middle East. Both emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving differences and disputes.

In response, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman conveyed his Eid greetings and best wishes to the people of Pakistan.
