Tangail, Sept 29 V7N- A child rights campaign was held in Ghatail, Tangail, on Sunday afternoon, September 29. The event, organized by Good Neighbors Bangladesh Ghatail CDP, took place at the Shalia Jani CDC conference room in Deulabari Union. The campaign focused on raising awareness about child rights, especially concerning child labor and child marriage.

Md. Shafiqul Islam, Ghatail Upazila Secondary Education Officer, along with Goodneighbors High School Principal Sona Moni Khanam and Program Officer Md. Zakaria, spoke at the event. The discussion, chaired by Sharmin Nasreen, Manager of Good Neighbors Bangladesh Ghatail CDP, highlighted the dangers of child labor and child marriage and explored ways to combat them. Speakers also discussed government efforts, legal measures, and child support initiatives aimed at protecting children's rights. Many local dignitaries were in attendance, showing community support for the cause.
