Chuadanga, Jan 07 (V7N) — Temperatures in Chuadanga have dropped significantly, with the district recording the lowest temperature in the country at 12.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday morning. The western district is shrouded in dense fog, causing widespread disruption to daily life.
Icy winds from the north have intensified the cold, making it particularly difficult for working people who are braving the harsh conditions to reach their workplaces. Many are seen bundled up in warm clothing as they navigate through the biting cold.
Visibility on the roads has also been severely affected, with vehicles driving with their headlights on to combat the dense fog.
Jaminur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chuadanga First Class Meteorological Observatory, confirmed the day's temperature, noting that it was the lowest recorded in the district this season.
The bone-chilling winter is expected to persist, urging residents to take necessary precautions to stay warm and safe.
