Chilmari (Kurigram), Feb 13 (V7N)- As part of the ongoing Operation Devil Hunt, police have arrested three individuals, including former UP chairman and ex-president of the banned Chhatra League, Noor-e-Elahi Tuhin, in Chilmari, Kurigram.

The arrests took place during raids in different areas early Thursday morning (February 13). Chilmari Model Police Station OC Musahed Khan confirmed the operation.

Noor-e-Elahi Tuhin (40) – Former president of Ramna Model Union Chhatra League and former UP chairman

Sagar Mia (26)

Zafiul Islam (32)

All three are residents of Ramna Model Union.

OC Musahed Khan stated, “They were arrested during a special operation early in the morning. Legal procedures are being completed, and they will be sent to jail through the court today.”

Police sources indicate that further investigations are underway regarding their activities.
