Pabna, Mar 12, (V7N) Hasadul Islam Hira, a former Secretary of Chatmohor Upazila BNP and a hopeful candidate for the BNP nomination from the Pabna-3 constituency, stated that there will be no room for miscreants or rude individuals in the BNP. He emphasized that anyone involved in criminal activities such as extortion, theft, or violence would have no place in the party. He further urged those engaging in such behaviors to reform themselves, adding that BNP work should be done respectfully and honorably.

Hira made these remarks during his keynote address at a Workers' Conference, Iftar, and Dua Mahfil, organized by the Haripur Union BNP and its affiliated organizations on March 10, 2025, at Haripur Playground in Chatmohor Upazila.

He further clarified, "We will not engage in any mud-slinging. The people of this country are neither blind nor mute. They see and hear everything. They know who is doing what." Hira also addressed the journalists directly, saying, "If I ever commit a wrongdoing, you have the right to speak out against me, no matter how powerful I am."

Hira emphasized that BNP members should not engage in any form of party-related misconduct such as factionalism or extortion. He called upon journalists to report any such illegal activities in the union, upazila, or town. "If there's an issue, I will stand by you," he added.

He concluded by stressing that anyone making mistakes within the party will not be forgiven and would have to face the consequences.

Other notable attendees included former Chairman of Haripur Union Parishad, Nazir Sorkar; former Chairman of Gunigacha Union Parishad, Golam Mowla; former General Secretary of Chatmohor Upazila BNP, Majnu Sorkar; President of Chatmohor Press Club, Helalur Rahman Jewel; and others.

The event concluded with a prayer led by Imam Mohammad Jamilur Rahman of the Haripur Buripara Jame Mosque.
