TANGAIL, JUNE 04 (V7N) – The 135th Tirodhan Utsav (passing away festival) of Trikaldarshi Mahapurush Sri Sri Loknath Brahmachari was observed with profound religious devotion in Tangail on Tuesday, June 3. The spiritual leader's death anniversary was marked by a series of day-long programs held at the Kalipur Sri Sri Loknath Brahmachari Ashram premises in the city.
The day's events commenced with an auspicious Usha Kirtan (morning devotional singing), followed by Puja (worship) and Anjali (offerings). This inauguration transformed the festival grounds into a vibrant gathering of traditional religious followers, with a large number of devotees in attendance.
The celebration included a variety of programs throughout the day, such as Balya Bhog (offering to child deity), Raj Bhog (royal offering), and the distribution of Maha Prasad (sacred food). Devotees also participated in the reading of the Sri Madbhagavad Gita and the biography of Sri Sri Loknath Brahmachari. The festival concluded with discussion meetings and devotional song programs, reflecting the deep reverence for the spiritual master.
