Natore, Feb 1 (V7N) — BNP central leader and BNP-nominated “Sheaf of Paddy” candidate for the Natore-2 (Sadar and Naldanga) constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, Advocate M. Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, has alleged that a vested quarter is conspiring to create obstacles to what he described as their certain electoral victory.

Speaking on Saturday during an election campaign in the Kaliganj area of Piprul Union under Naldanga Upazila in Natore district, Dulu said the people of Bangladesh are eager for a free, fair, and neutral election. He claimed that a political group which had previously acted against the country’s independence and sovereignty has once again become active with the intention of disrupting the electoral process.

Calling on citizens to remain vigilant, he urged the people of Bangladesh to stay united in order to resist any conspiracies aimed at undermining democracy and the upcoming parliamentary election.

Several BNP leaders and activists were present at the campaign event, including District BNP member Shahidullah Sohel, former Jubo Dal General Secretary Russell Ahmed Rony, Olama Dal General Secretary Shafiqul Islam, former Organizing Secretary of Naldanga Upazila BNP Shafiqul Islam Bulbul, and Piprul Union BNP President Humayun Shikdar, among others.
