The Pekua Magnama jetty in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, is a sight for nature enthusiasts to behold.
 
Visitors who arrive to take in the stunning Magnama jetty, rich in natural beauty, history, and cultural legacy, as well as the blue sunset in the sea.

In addition, nature enthusiasts are continually drawn to the verdant banks of the river, Kutubdia island across from the jetty, the rows of trees, the fleet of fishing boats stationed on both sides, and the fishermen's activities on both sides.

It is stated that the main station of the ghat on the river is connected by a long, thin bridge located 200 yards distant. The main level is twenty yards in width and twenty yards in length.

Salt produced in sea water and salt cultivation caught the attention of people coming to Magnama jetty from different districts of the country. When you get to the jetty, you will see the fleet of fishing boats crowded around the shore and the activities of the fishermen on both sides of the jetty.
 
History says that the people of Rakhine ethnic group lived hundreds of years ago. Locally it was better known as Mugh. It was named Magnama Jetty as the Rakhine (Mugh) used to travel through this jetty. Since then, the life and livelihood of people in this area has also flowed according to the tide. 
 
At one time, most of the people in the ghat area used to collect fish. Fishermen still make a living by seining in channels, many by seining in the deep sea with large trawlers.
 
Rows of boats where fishermen go to catch fish can be seen sitting on the jetty like hundreds of years ago. On the ground, green beds of grass on the banks of the river on both sides of the ghats, fleets of crowded fishermen's boats, rows of trees were seen.
 
Also, stone blocks have been installed on the north and south sides for the visitors to sit. These blocks are colored in different colors. On the southern side of the mudflats, boats representing the struggle of local fishermen are kept, the history of which can easily excite the wanderlust. A little south is the country's only submarine base. 
 
This base has been named BNS Sheikh Hasina Submarine Base.
On the northern side of the jetty there are entertainment and picnic spots for the wanderlust.
 
M. Abdullah, president of the international military organization Apex Club on Pekua, told the Voice7 News Correspondent, I came to visit Magnama jetty with my family during the holidays. Sits in the middle of the vast sea. It is a great pleasure to see the fishermen fishing with joy in the clear air.
 
Habib Ullah, a student of Chittagong University, said, sitting on the jetty, you can bathe with water. The sunset scene in the evening creates a different feeling. It seems that the sun is disappearing in a small village on the shore of the sea.
 
UP member Moktar Ahmed told Voice7 News that the picturesque Banauja link road, the beautiful environment filled with salt cultivation attracts the tourists coming from far away.
 
In this regard, Magnama Union Parishad Chairman Md. Yunus Chowdhury said that in the evening, people who are thirsty for travel from different areas of the upazila and outside the upazila gather in a crowd. Magnama Jetty will be the only entertainment spot for the people of Chakaria-Pekua upazila if government patronage is received.
