Kuakata, (June-6,V7N)- A deceased dolphin, measuring 10 feet in length, has been found washed ashore on Kuakata Beach, its entire body devoid of skin.

Locals discovered the dolphin Thursday morning at Mirabari Point on the beach. Abul Hossen Raju, a member of the Dolphin Rescue Committee, mentioned that the Bay of Bengal showed slight turbulence. The dolphin likely rode in with the tide, brought to the shore by the waves. Its upper body's skin has peeled off entirely, and there are indications of the abdomen being burst, hinting that the dolphin may have perished several days ago.

Ruman Imtiaz Tushar, the team leader of the Kuakata Dolphin Rescue Committee, commented, 'Upon receiving the news, our members promptly, with assistance from the Forest Department and Blue-Guards, safely positioned the dolphin on land.'

Abul Kalam Azad, the Mahipur Range Officer of the Forest Department, assured, 'To prevent any foul odor, we are organizing swift arrangements to bury the deceased dolphin.'"
