Tangail June 16,(V7N)- In Tangail, preparations have been made for 2,082 Eid-ul-Azha congregational prayer grounds. Among these, there are 145 in Sadar Upazila, 230 in Mirzapur, 54 in Basail, 126 in Delduar, 163 in Sakhipur, 140 in Nagarpur, 140 in Kalihati, 306 in Ghatail, 100 in Bhuapur, 298 in Gopalpur, 210 in Madhupur, and 170 in Dhanbari Upazila.
 
Regarding this, Tangail Municipal Mayor S. M. Sirajul Haque Alamgir stated that the municipality has provided financial support for several Eid-ul-Azha prayer grounds to ensure that devout Muslims can comfortably perform their Eid prayers.
 
Additionally, he mentioned that the previously announced plan to create a prayer space for women at the Tangail Central Eidgah ground has been postponed.
 
On the other hand, Tangail RAB-14 Company Commander Manzur Mehdi Islam stated that security preparations are in place for the Eidgahs.
 
He added, "We have made all necessary security arrangements around the cattle markets, highways, and Eid prayer grounds in connection with Eid-ul-Azha. We are monitoring the situation and hope that the Eid congregations will be held smoothly and beautifully."
