Teknaf, June 26 (V7N)- Myanmar ongoing conflict in Rakhine State. sounds of loud explosions have been persistent around the Teknaf border area region till this morning 26 June.
Teknaf border resident said blaring sounds of shells exploding in Rakhine's Maungdaw shook the border area region.
 
From Tuesday 25 June 7 pm to Wednesday 6 am. the locals spent the night in fear due to the sound of heavy mortar shells on the border at several points in Teknaf Cox's Bazar Bangladesh. 
Jafar Alam, a resident of Hnila border in Teknaf, told the reporter that he can hear the sound of gunfire explosion.
 
Sarwar Alam Vice Chairman Teknaf Upazila Parishad, said Voice7 News that the border area was shaken by the sound of mortar shells and gunfire. There is a sound like thunder. People are having sleepless nights.
