Approximately 36,000 people in remote areas of Tangail Sadar, Bhuapur, and Kalihati upazilas remain stranded due to unchanged or worsening flood conditions. While water levels in the Jhenai and Jamuna rivers have slightly decreased, other rivers continue to rise.

Numerous homes, markets, and farmlands are submerged. Deputy Commissioner Kaisarul Islam stated that relief supplies, including food and water purification tablets, have been distributed to the affected areas.
