Barguna, July 11 (V7N) - In Barguna, a delightful fruit festival was held to introduce impoverished kids to a range of locally grown fruits. The goal of the on Wednesday, (July 10) afternoon programme was to inform and enthral the young attendees with the wide variety of locally grown vegetables.
 
The Ashar Alo Pathshala Centre in Bhutmara village, Gourichanna Union, Sadar Upazila was the venue for the celebration. The event, which featured a variety of mouthwatering local fruits, was a colourful celebration of the wealth of the season and was organised by a local youth charity.

The event was carefully planned by the organisers to be both entertaining and informative. The kids got to view, feel, and taste a huge assortment of fruits, some of which they would not have known existed previously. The pupils gained knowledge of the many fruits, their histories, and their nutritional advantages through practical exercises.
 
"We want to expose these kids to the rich agricultural legacy of our area," stated one of the organisers. We want to foster in them a sense of pride and gratitude for our natural resources by introducing them to fruits that grow nearby."
