Jhalokati, Aug 03 (V7N) - In Jhalokati, students took to the streets to protest and demand justice. They gathered for a rally to condemn recent attacks and killings related to the nationwide quota reform movement and to push for the fulfillment of their sole demand.

On Saturday afternoon, students from various schools and colleges assembled in front of the Jhalokati Press Club for a brief but impactful rally. They voiced their outrage with slogans condemning the violence and fatalities inflicted upon activists in different parts of the country. Speakers at the event included students Abir Laskar, Prant, and Lamia Akter, among others.

During the rally, students demanded accountability for the violence and indiscriminate shootings targeting students and innocent civilians during peaceful protests. They made it clear that their movement would persist until their single-point demand is met.

The protestors also used provocative and satirical slogans against the government. They are calling on all participating students to join them tomorrow morning at 10 AM for another rally in front of Jhalokati Government High School for Boys.
