Pabna, Aug 25 (V7N) - In a heartfelt effort to aid flood victims, musicians from Chatmohor, Pabna, performed timeless songs like “Dhano Dhanye Pushpe Bhora” and “Manush Manusher Jonno” to raise funds. On Sunday, August 25, the group, known as 'Shilpi Goshthi,' traversed the town from morning to evening, collecting donations for flood relief.

The musicians received generous contributions from a diverse group of townspeople, including teachers, students, workers, and business owners.

Led by renowned artist and RTV’s Banglar Gaan Champion (Season 1) Russell Mridha, the initiative successfully gathered 20,000 Taka. These funds will be used to buy essential supplies for flood-affected individuals through a reputable organization, as stated by the event organizers.

The event saw the participation of Chatmohor Press Club General Secretary Masud Rana, Jugantor’s Chatmohor correspondent Pabitra Talukdar, and several local social workers including Asaduzzaman Lebu, Khairul Islam, Antar Mridha, Siddique Milan, and Subhash Sarker.

Russell Mridha expressed to Voice7 News, “With people in many districts enduring severe difficulties due to the floods, it is crucial for everyone to pitch in. We, as musicians, have joined this collective effort to support those in need and encourage others to contribute as well.”
