The Metropolitan Police of Chattogram, Bangladesh, has released several traffic-related directives to facilitate efficient traffic control during the 2024 MBBS entrance exam.

Traffic restriction on the highways surrounding the city's MBBS entrance exam facilities is to be enforced, according to an order on Wednesday, February 7.

In accordance with the notice, the entrance exam for the MBBS program for the academic year 2023–2024 will take place on Friday, February 9, from 10 am to 11 am at (1) Chattogram Medical College Campus, (2) Chittagong College, and (3) Ispahani Public School and College.

Road barriers will be temporarily erected on the following city roadways from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. that day to facilitate seamless traffic management during the examination at the aforementioned centers for all vehicle movements.

1. Chattogram Medical College road from Olikhan intersection of the city,
2. Chattogram College Road from Karey Junction,
3. Gani Bakery to Chittagong College Road,
4. Parade Ground Northeast corner to Karey Road,
5. Chittagong Medical College Road from Pravartak Circle.

Candidate transport vehicles will use central convenient places for candidates namely Gani Bakery, Karey Mor, North East Corner of Parade Ground, Olikhan Circle and Pravtar Circle as dropping points.

Senior officers/doctors of Chattogram Medical College and Hospital, examination related persons, ambulances transporting patients and other vehicles transporting emergency patients will be exempted from traffic control management.

In case of other vehicles, it is advised to use alternative roads avoiding the road in front of the examination centers and surrounding roads and road barrier points as much as possible.

Traffic department of CMP expects full cooperation from all concerned including city dwellers in order to conduct the MBBS admission examination smoothly and incessantly.
