Pabna, Sep 30 (V7N) – Pabna Science and Technology University (PSTU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Abdul Awal emphasized the importance of efficient resource management and innovative approaches to foster national progress, during his keynote speech at a workshop titled *'Outcome-Based Education Curriculum Development'* for the Department of Business Administration on Monday.

Speaking as the chief guest, Professor Awal remarked, "We must perform effectively, even with limited resources. First, we need to identify the challenges and then address them. The dream of a new Bangladesh can only be achieved through honest and smart work. We should consider creating research cells or institutes to encourage entrepreneurship, where proper training will be provided."

The workshop, held in the virtual classroom of the university’s central library building, featured Professor Md. Zakir Hossain from the Department of Accounting Science and Information Systems at Islamic University as the resource person. The session aimed to equip teachers with the tools and knowledge needed to develop an outcome-based education (OBE) curriculum for the department.

The event was chaired by the Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dr. Md. Shamim Reza, with additional directors Dr. Md. Nur Alam and Dr. Md. Asfakur Rahman overseeing the workshop’s activities. All faculty members from the Department of Business Administration participated in the training, which began at 11:30 AM and concluded at 2:00 PM.

The workshop is part of PSTU’s broader initiative to enhance the quality of education and align with international standards, ensuring students receive a curriculum that prepares them for the evolving demands of the job market.
