Rajshahi University (RU) is embarking on a journey to automate its examination management processes, aiming to enhance efficiency and convenience for students and their guardians.

The necessary groundwork for automation is swiftly advancing, with infrastructure development and related tasks already completed. To strategize and discuss the successful implementation of examination management automation, RU authorities convened an introductory and discussion meeting at its Senate Bhaban.

Chaired by Vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Golam Sabbir Sattar, the meeting featured addresses from Pro-VCs Prof Sultan-Ul-Islam and Prof Humayun Kabir, as well as Treasurer Prof Obayedur Rahman Pramanik.

During the meeting, ICT Director Prof Khademul Islam Mollah and Controller of Examinations Prof Ashraful Islam Khan delivered detailed presentations on the technical aspects and applications of automated examination management.

VC Prof Golam Sabbir emphasized the university's commitment to promoting automated management, particularly in the examinations for the academic year 2022-2023. Various manual activities, including students' class attendance, examination registration, result publication within four weeks, and issuance of transcripts and certificates, will transition to automation.

The VC further stated that the ongoing efforts aim to ensure that individuals can conveniently access their important documents online from any location and at any time, reflecting RU's dedication to leveraging technology for the benefit of its stakeholders.
