In Narsingdi, a human chain was formed to seek justice for those behind Avantika's suicide at Jagannath University. The Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Belab organisational district section arranged this human connection event on Thursday afternoon.

near the human chain demonstration held near the Baraicha bus terminal in Belab upazila, participants included teachers, students from various schools and colleges, representatives of the Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Belab organisational district chapter, and local women leaders. 

The speakers in the human chain urged that Raihan Siddiqui, a student, and instructor Deen Islam, who are suspected of encouraging Avantika's suicide, be granted a fair trial by Amman's rule on expedited trials after a thorough investigation.

The speakers emphasized that people should be mindful that similar instances won't occur at the university going forward. In addition, every educational institution is required by the High Court's ruling to activate the complaint box.

Under the direction of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Belabo Organisational District Branch President Rabeya Khatun Shanti, Vice President Nazmunnahar Amena, General Secretary Nazrin Haque Hena, Organising Secretary Khaleda Sharmin, Legal Aid Secretary Rokhsana Akhtar, Teacher Md Aminul Islam, and Teacher Leader Anwar Hossain spoke at the event.
