Netrokona, July 8 (V7N)- On Monday (July 8), a Bangla Blockade program was organized at Sheikh Hasina University (Shehabi) campus in Netrokona from 12 PM to 2 PM.
 
Later, general students marched from the Shehabi campus at Raju Bazar in Netrokona district town, circling the entire town and ending at Moktarpara Field, demanding the abolition of the quota system. During this time, they chanted various slogans calling for the abolition of the quota system.
 
Regarding this, Faiza Eka, General Secretary of Shehabi Chhatra League, said, "We have urged the general students to have faith in the government's decision. Everything was fine until night, but in the morning, they carried out their program."
 
Nahid Hasan, President of Shehabi Chhatra League, said, "The general students are protesting to voice their demands. We did not create any obstacles or hindrances for them."
 
On the other hand, the general students who called for the movement have stated that their protest program will continue.
