Kurigram, July 12 (V7N)- In a humanitarian effort, the Universal Emiti Foundation has extended vital relief to more than a hundred families affected by flooding in Chilmari, Kurigram. The assistance was distributed on Friday, July 12, in Nayarchar Union of the upazila. Mr. Mehedi Hasan Durjoy, the foundation's principal project coordinator, alongside other members, personally oversaw the distribution. Each relief package provided essential items such as rice, pulses, sugar, bread, and biscuits.
Meanwhile, the situation remains dire in Bandhoni, Kurigram, where heavy rains have caused water from the mountains to inundate the area for several consecutive days. The urgency of the flood crisis underscores the critical need for immediate relief efforts.
