Mumbai, Jan 16, (V7N) - Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was hospitalized after being attacked with a knife by an intruder at his Bandra residence in Mumbai, police confirmed on Thursday.

The shocking incident occurred around midnight when an unidentified individual broke into Khan's home. A physical altercation ensued between Khan and the intruder, resulting in injuries to the actor. Some of Khan's family members were reportedly present during the attack.

Khan was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, where doctors confirmed he is out of danger.

Following the attack, Bandra police swiftly arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the matter.
