In an unusual turn of events, Bangladeshi actress Rafiat Rashid Mithila finds herself grappling with a peculiar predicament as her Kolkata-based director husband, Srijit Mukherjee, fills their home with snakes, much to her dismay.

The couple, known for their unique love story, has been living in a house teeming with snakes, thanks to Srijit's fascination with the slithering creatures. Initially, Mithila found herself charmed by the idea of having a pet python named 'Ulupi,' inspired by Hindu mythology. However, her enthusiasm quickly waned as the number of snakes in their home multiplied, now totaling four.

In a recent interview with YouTuber Jhelam Gupta, Mithila expressed her growing apprehension, confessing that her fear of snakes has intensified with each new addition to their reptilian family. She revealed, "There are four pythons, I hear there will be more. I am scared after hearing this."

Mithila, who once found solace in her husband's passion for snakes, now finds herself hesitant to enter her own home. She lamented the prospect of their residence becoming a veritable "reptilian building," jokingly referencing their building's name, Shishir Building.

Srijit, known for his unconventional choices, proudly shares glimpses of their unique pets on social media, further exacerbating Mithila's apprehension. Despite her initial acceptance of their shared abode with Ulupi, Mithila now grapples with the challenge of navigating her fear while promoting her latest film, 'O Abhagi,' in Kolkata.

As Mithila contends with her phobia, the unusual dynamics of their household continue to raise eyebrows, sparking curiosity among fans and media alike about the couple's unconventional living situation.
