Musician Tahsan Rahman Khan has revealed that he has been suffering from vocal cord problems for the past six years. Despite keeping this issue under wraps, Tahsan recently disclosed the details during an interview. He explained that he was diagnosed with a vocal cord disease in 2018, which has significantly impacted his ability to sing effortlessly.

"After being diagnosed with vocal cord problems in 2018, I can no longer sing as easily as before. There was a time when I feared that I might not be able to sing anymore. Over the last six years, I've learned to recognize when my voice is in condition for singing and when it's not. Because of this, my song output has decreased significantly," Tahsan shared.

He further mentioned that although there was a period when the problem seemed to improve, it has recently worsened. Tahsan is currently undergoing treatment and has had to make significant lifestyle and dietary changes. "There have been times when I've had a major concert and my vocal cords were in such bad condition that I could barely speak due to the pain. Yet, I still had to perform for an hour. I may not have been able to deliver performances at the level I used to, but I'm very lucky that the audience's love has never waned," he said.

Tahsan addressed his fans, explaining his situation and asking for their understanding and support. "I shared this because as time goes by, my singing ability is decreasing. If concerts and live singing gradually decrease, you will understand that my problem has become more evident. Please pray that this issue does not worsen."

Despite his vocal challenges, Tahsan is making a comeback to acting. His first web series, "Baaji," is set to be released on the OTT platform Charki for Eid al-Adha, marking his return to acting after almost two years.
