Dhaka, Jan 31 (V7N) – Sarjis Alam, the prominent student leader and chief organizer of the National Citizens Committee, who played a pivotal role in the fall of the Hasina government, has tied the knot today.

The news of his marriage was shared by Local Government and Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan and Hasnat Abdullah, the convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, in a Facebook post on Friday evening.

In his post, Asif Mahmud congratulated Sarjis Alam, wishing him happiness in his new life. He shared a picture of the wedding ceremony, writing: “Congratulations on entering a new life, Sarjis Bhai. May your married life be happy.”

The marriage marks a new chapter in the life of Sarjis Alam, who has been a key figure in Bangladesh's recent political developments.
