FEB 12 (V7N) - In the 13th national parliamentary election, BNP candidate Asadul Habib Dulu has been declared winner in Lalmonirhat-3 constituency.

Out of 94 polling centres, Dulu, contesting with the Sheaf of Paddy symbol, secured 138,691 votes. His nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abu Taher, running with the Scales symbol, received 55,671 votes.

The decisive margin underscores BNP’s strong position in the constituency, where voter turnout was reported to be significant throughout the day.
