Dhaka, Mar 31 (V7N) – The Ministry of Home Affairs Bangladesh today held its monthly budget review meeting under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the fiscal year 2025–26.

The meeting took place at the Secretariat and was chaired by Senior Secretary Manzur Morshed Chowdhury.

Assistant Secretary (Planning-3 Section) Md Saiful Islam confirmed that the meeting was held.

During the session, officials stressed the need for effective monitoring and timely implementation of development projects under key departments, including the Department of Immigration and Passports, Department of Narcotics Control, Department of Fire Service and Civil Defence, and the Department of Prisons.

These departments have already approved their respective ADP budgets for the current fiscal year, the meeting was informed.

The meeting also reviewed progress on decisions taken during the previous session held on February 26, including approval of its minutes and assessment of implementation status of earlier resolutions.
