According to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal, the Election Commission can guarantee without a doubt that there won't be any anomalies in the voting procedure on election night.

To fulfill this vow, he made it clear that it is non-negotiable and that early in the morning ballots will be sent to voting places.

The CEC remarked, "We can guarantee with 100% certainty that whatever questions pointed out regarding the election and voting on the night before the election, will not have any impact," while speaking to officials and participating candidates in Chattogram on Tuesday December 26. Voting papers will therefore be sent to numerous locations early on the day of the election."

"Candidates will utilize their poll workers to verify that the ballot boxes at the polling places are empty before sealing them, regardless of whether ballots were mailed out ten days or ten months before to the election. There won't be a possibility for any invalid ballot boxes to enter the voting locations in such a scenario. Then, we strongly advise mailing the voting sheets.

"At the polling places, poll workers will stand and make sure the ballot boxes are empty. Until the conclusion of the vote count and announcement of the results, they will stay in the center. We'll keep an eye on everything to guarantee accuracy. We can be positive that the vote is unbiased and fair if the counting is done appropriately," he added.

"The presiding officer has been instructed to stop the voting if any disturbance or malpractice occurs during the voting," CEC Kazi Habibul Awal continued. Informing us of the presiding officer's failure to do so will allow us to step in and halt the procedure. We have spoken with the UNO, DC, SP, OC, and they have all stated that the election situation is going well thus far.

The conference was presided over by Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Tofayel Islam. Notable attendees included Chattogram District Police Superintendent SM Shafiullah, Secretary of the Election Commission Jahangir Alam, Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police Krishna Pad Ray, DIG of Chattogram Range Nurul Alam Mina, and Chattogram Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman.
