The organs from a 38-year-old brain-dead donor were used in transplant procedures for two patients with renal diseases, the second such treatment in the medical history of the nation.
The National Kidney Foundation and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the nation's capital hosted the hour-long life-saving procedures on Thursday night.
