Asserting that members of the governing party are now engaging in "internal bloodshed to secure a share of looted money," the opposition party in Bangladesh, BNP said on Wednesday that social anarchy has reached an alarming degree nationwide.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the Senior Joint Secretary General of the party, also charged the Awami League of instituting feudalism in Bangladesh following the January 7 election, while speaking during a leaflet distribution session.

"A profound gloom has descended upon the nation. The social and economic spheres are descending into a dreadful chaos. What is going on in the social media realm right now? He remarked, "Universities have become hotbeds of sexual harassment."

"The BNP leader claimed that in Kushtia, members of the Chhatra League hacked a young person into ten pieces."Chhatra League member Sajeeb acknowledged their role in the murder. They are now murdering one another in order to lay claim to stolen money, rather than only assaulting BNP (followers).

He expressed worry that the nation is currently on the verge of a catastrophic outcome due to the growing levels of societal unrest.

As part of their nationwide campaign, Rizvi and a few party leaders and activists handed out pamphlets to passersby, store owners, transit workers, and rickshaw pullers in the Gulshan area of the city. The pamphlets demanded the cancellation of the 12th parliamentary elections and a new election with a nonpartisan government.

'Save the country, save the people' was the leaflet that called for the cancellation of the biased by-election on January 7, the resignation of the Sheikh Hasina government, the creation of an unbiased election commission under a caretaker government, and the release of BNP leaders and activists who were detained, including the party's chairperson, Begum Khaleda Zia.

For the second day in a row, BNP officials, workers, and affiliated entities distributed pamphlets around Dhaka and all major cities to put further pressure on the government to lower the cost of necessities.

He claimed that the leaders of the ruling party are acting haughtily now that they have taken over through the "lopsided" 12th legislative election.

"The usurper administration believes that with the January 7 phony election, they have taken control of Bangladesh. We shall continue to struggle against this kind of feudalism. The people's power has been withdrawn. People need to regain their authority, according to Rizvi.

He asserted that the BNP and other like-minded parties are leading a popular uprising to revitalize democracy and return the people to their rightful place as the nation's proprietors. "This movement's goal is not to elevate the BNP to power. Returning power to the people is the goal of this fight.

According to the BNP leader, the government's passivity and submissive policies have undermined Bangladesh's sovereignty.

"On the border between India and Bangladesh, Bangladeshis are being shot like birds. The Teknaf-Ukhia border is a frequent site of gunshot exchanges. Our government remains mute while Bangladeshi farmers are left unable to work and living in dread every day. We cannot allow this to continue."
