Dhaka, Nov 07 (V7N) — BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has vowed that the BNP will stand alongside the people in resisting any form of hegemony. He emphasized the party's commitment to intensifying its movement if needed, stating this resolve after paying tribute at the tomb of party founder Ziaur Rahman on the occasion of Revolution and Solidarity Day.

Mirza Fakhrul expressed strong criticism of the Awami League, describing it as a fascist entity that has historically sought to dismantle the BNP through conspiracies. He referenced the student-led uprising earlier this year, noting that it signaled a fresh defeat of fascist forces and reaffirmed the BNP’s alignment with the people's aspirations.

He acknowledged some positive contributions of the interim government over the past three months, calling on the public to extend cooperation to them. "I hope the interim government will hold elections at a reasonable time. If they do so, the nation will be better prepared to meet future challenges,” Fakhrul said.

As the BNP strengthens its position and prepares for potential mobilization, the party’s stance underscores its dedication to upholding democratic values and fostering unity among the people.
