Dhaka, Jan 16 (V7N) — The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has announced that it will not participate in the all-party meeting convened by Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor to the interim government, regarding the preparation of the July Revolution manifesto. The confirmation came from Salah Uddin Razzak, press secretary to LDP President Dr. Col. (Retd.) Oli Ahmed Bir Bikram, on Thursday morning.

The all-party meeting is scheduled to take place at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday. It aims to discuss the contents of the July declaration and determine the role of the government in its implementation.

The Chief Advisor’s press wing announced the meeting on Wednesday night. Earlier, interim government advisor Mahfuz Alam had briefed the media on Tuesday, stating that the meeting would finalise key elements of the July declaration, including its timeline and the government's responsibilities in the process.

Despite the LDP’s absence, representatives from other political parties are expected to attend the meeting to deliberate on the manifesto's framework and objectives.
