Dhaka, Feb 22 (V7N) – BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has emphasized that the people and the country are at the core of BNP's politics, stating that if BNP comes to power, its priority will be rebuilding the nation and fulfilling public expectations. He stressed the importance of transparent and fair elections for the country's progress.

Tarique Rahman made these remarks virtually while addressing the biannual conference of Jessore District BNP on Saturday (February 22) afternoon.

Amid ongoing discussions about political reforms, Tarique Rahman pointed out that BNP had already proposed structural reforms two and a half years ago to advance the nation. He asserted that BNP does not engage in actions that lack public support.

Acknowledging concerns within the party, Tarique Rahman admitted that some BNP leaders and activists had made mistakes due to confusion, but the party had taken action against them accordingly. He also warned that propaganda is being spread against BNP in an attempt to mislead the public.

The BNP leader reiterated the party’s commitment to justice and accountability, urging unity among BNP members to fight for democracy and a better Bangladesh.
