Panchagarh, Feb 26 (V7N)- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has vowed to create a Bangladesh where no young person will be unemployed if it comes to power. The party’s Ameer, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, made this statement at a public meeting held at Panchagarh Sugar Mill Ground on Wednesday (Feb 26).

"We want to build a humane Bangladesh where young people will get jobs immediately after completing their studies," he declared while addressing party supporters.

Touching on Bangladesh-India relations, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman emphasized maintaining a balanced and respectful relationship with the neighboring country.

"India is our closest neighbor. We do not want to unnecessarily provoke our neighboring country. However, our neighbor should not impose anything on us that is humiliating for the people of the country," he asserted.

The Jamaat Ameer also demanded the publication of a white paper investigating all major incidents in Bangladesh from 1972 to 2024. He emphasized the need for transparency and accountability regarding past events.

As political momentum builds ahead of the next election, Jamaat-e-Islami’s promises and demands are likely to spark further discussions in the country's political landscape.
