Tangail, Mar 1 (V7N) – After spending 17 years in prison, former Deputy Minister, BNP Vice Chairman, and former Member of Parliament for Tangail-2, Advocate Abdus Salam Pintu has returned to politics. On Friday, February 28, a grand reception ceremony was held in his honor at Bhuyapur Model Government High School grounds, organized by the local BNP and its affiliated organizations.

The event was chaired by Advocate Golam Mostafa Miar, President of the Bhuyapur Upazila BNP, with General Secretary Selimuzzaman Selu and Municipal BNP General Secretary Lutfor Rahman Giyas acting as the event's coordinators. The chief guest for the occasion was Shamsuzzaman Dudu, Vice-President of the BNP Central Committee.

Special guests included Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Central Publicity Secretary of BNP, Advocate Obaidul Haque Nasir, Central Executive Committee Member, Hasanuzzamil Shahin, General Secretary of District BNP, Advocate Farhad Iqbal, District BNP General Secretary, Jahangir Hossain, President of Municipal BNP, along with other BNP leaders and supporters from various unions and wards in Bhuyapur. The event was marked by large processions and chants, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
