Chittagong, Jan 25 (V7N) — BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to address a massive public rally in Chittagong today, marking his return to the port city after nearly two decades. He arrived in Chittagong on Saturday evening amid heightened enthusiasm among party leaders and supporters.

On Sunday (January 25), Tarique Rahman is scheduled to participate in six election-related public meetings across four districts, beginning with Chittagong.

According to party sources, he will address a major public meeting at 11:30 am at the historic Polo Ground in the city. Since early morning, party leaders, activists, and supporters have been gathering at the venue, while last-minute preparations for the rally are underway.

Following the Chittagong rally, the BNP Chairman will travel to Feni, where he is scheduled to speak at 4:00 pm at the Feni Pilot School playground.

Later in the evening, Tarique Rahman will head to Comilla district, where he will address a public meeting at Chauddagram High School ground. He is also expected to participate in two additional public meetings in Comilla as part of the day’s campaign schedule.

On his return journey to Dhaka, Tarique Rahman will conclude the day by addressing a public meeting in Narayanganj, party officials confirmed.

The series of rallies is being viewed as a significant campaign push by the BNP ahead of the upcoming elections, with large turnouts expected at each venue.
