Thakurgaon, Feb 01 (V7N) — BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has warned that attempts to sabotage the upcoming elections will fail.

He made the remarks during a road meeting in his constituency on Sunday. Fakhrul alleged that a political party is spreading false information to mislead mothers and sisters, claiming that “voting on the scales” will lead them to heaven.

“Going to heaven is not achieved through lies, but through honesty and good deeds. Everyone must vote with awareness to move the country forward,” Fakhrul said.

He also urged citizens to actively guard polling stations during the election, ensuring that the voting process remains fair and orderly. “On the day of the election, all leaders, activists, and voters must ensure that no one can create chaos. Hindus and Muslims alike must be able to vote without any hindrance,” he added.
