In a scathing rebuke against the government, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed has alleged negligence and mismanagement leading to tragic accidents, even on the auspicious day of Eid.

In a video message released on Friday morning, April 12, Rizvi Ahmed lamented the loss of lives in fatal accidents, attributing them to the government's flawed policies and lack of accountability. Despite the government's claims of improved road management, Rizvi Ahmed asserted that the people continue to suffer without respite.

Furthermore, Rizvi Ahmed criticized the government's handling of fire incidents in the capital city of Dhaka, describing it as akin to a "fire pit." He highlighted the tragic deaths occurring on Eid due to fires, attributing them to governmental mismanagement.

Expressing frustration and dismay, Rizvi Ahmed distanced himself from responsibility, stating that he was not elected by the people's vote. This statement underscores his assertion that accountability lies with the government, which he accuses of failing to address the grievances and concerns of the populace.

Rizvi Ahmed's remarks highlight the ongoing tensions between the opposition and the ruling government, with the former citing incidents of tragedy and mismanagement as evidence of the latter's ineffectiveness. As the nation grapples with the aftermath of Eid tragedies, calls for accountability and improved governance resonate amidst a backdrop of political discord.
