Natore, July 3 (V7N)- There are allegations that government supporters attacked a BNP rally in Natore, injuring central leader Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul and district BNP convenor Shahidul Islam Bacchu along with seven others.
 
The injured have been admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH). Doctors have reported that the condition of the district BNP convenor is critical. Dewan Shaheen, joint convenor of the district BNP, alleged that according to the central program, BNP organized a rally in front of the party office in Alaiapur in the morning.
 
As they were arriving at the rally, acting district BNP convenor Shahidul Islam Bacchu and three others were injured in a machete attack. Following this, government party activists attacked the rally. 
 
Central BNP forest and environment affairs secretary Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul and four others were injured. Police brought the situation under control by chasing away the attackers. BNP leaders have demanded justice for this incident. However, the police have not commented on the matter.
