Dhaka, Feb 13 (V7N) – The Bangladesh government has officially renamed 13 public universities that were previously named after ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members. The decision was published in an official gazette issued by the President on Thursday (February 13).

According to the ordinance, similar names for multiple universities had caused confusion, making it necessary to revise the names for clarity and proper identification.
