Dhaka, Feb 22 (V7N) — Nobel laureate economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus has returned to his work at the Yunus Center after completing his 18-month tenure as chief advisor to the interim government.
Upon arrival at the Telecom Bhaban in Mirpur, Dr. Yunus was welcomed by the center’s officials and employees, who presented him with a bouquet of flowers. He exchanged greetings with the staff before participating in a meeting with the managing director and advisors of rural organizations affiliated with the Yunus Center.
The Yunus Center confirmed that Dr. Yunus plans to return to his residence in Gulshan, Dhaka, by the end of this month, resuming his work and engagements at the center.
