A three-member team from the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police is returning to Dhaka after a four-day investigation in Kolkata regarding the murder case of MP Azim.
Led by DB Chief Harun-or-Rashid, the team included Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Abdul Ahad and Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahidur Rahman. They conducted extensive investigations to gather evidence related to MP Azim's murder.
MP Azim, a three-time Member of Parliament, went missing on May 13 after traveling to Kolkata for treatment. On May 22, Indian media reported his murder in a Kolkata house. Following this, police from both countries began investigations, resulting in several arrests related to the case.
