Dhaka, July 27– Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a series of visits to hospitals in the capital to meet with victims injured during the recent violence surrounding the quota reform movement in government jobs. On Saturday morning, she visited Pangu Hospital, where she inquired about the patients' conditions and provided necessary instructions to the hospital authorities to ensure proper treatment.

This visit followed her tour of Dhaka Medical Center (DMK) on Friday, where she arrived around 4:30 pm to check on the injured in the emergency unit. During her visit, she emphasized the importance of proper medical care and directed the hospital staff to ensure that all patients receive the best possible treatment.

Prime Minister Hasina assured the public that those responsible for the violence would be held accountable. "The guilty should be given appropriate punishment so that no one can play with the lives of the countrymen again," she stated.

Additionally, on Friday morning, the Prime Minister visited the Mirpur 10-A metro rail station and the Bangladesh Television (BTV) building to inspect the damage caused by arson and vandalism during the violence. These visits highlight her commitment to addressing the aftermath of the unrest and ensuring the safety and well-being of the affected citizens.
