Dhaka, Aug 09 (V7N) – The Cabinet Division has unveiled the portfolios for Bangladesh’s interim government, with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus assigned to oversee 27 ministries and divisions. The announcement, made on Friday, outlines the extensive range of responsibilities Dr. Yunus will hold during this transitional period.
The ministries and divisions under Dr. Yunus’s purview are:

- Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges

- Ministry of Land

Professor Yunus, a Nobel laureate, was officially sworn in as Chief Adviser on Thursday, following the dissolution of Sheikh Hasina’s government. The oath-taking ceremony was presided over by President Mohammed Shahabuddin and was attended by leaders from various political factions, including the BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jatiyo Party, and Krishak Sramik Janata League. High-ranking military officials, secretaries from various ministries, and ambassadors from several countries were also present at the event.
