Chittagong, Aug 22 (V7N) – Visiting Pakistani Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan announced that direct flights between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be launched very soon. He made the statement while speaking with local businessmen at the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce auditorium on Friday morning.

Jam Kamal Khan highlighted opportunities for bilateral cooperation and investment in sectors such as agriculture and science. He added that a Joint Working Group (JWG) agreement will be signed between the two countries on August 24, and a roadmap for trade and investment will be prepared shortly.

The Pakistani minister also noted that both the Joint Working Group and the Joint Economic Commission will identify commercial potential and cooperation areas. Efforts are underway to make direct feeder services between Chittagong and Karachi profitable for both countries.
