Dhaka, August 15- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ordered the immediate return of seven ambassadors and high commissioners from their postings in key countries, including the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia. The directive, issued on Wednesday, was communicated through separate notifications signed by DM Salah Uddin Mahmud, Director General of the Administration Division of the ministry.

The diplomats instructed to return to Dhaka include Mohammad Imran, the Ambassador to Washington, Kamrul Hasan, the Ambassador to Russia, Javed Patwari, the Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Shahabuddin Ahmed, the Ambassador to Japan, Musharraf Hussain Bhuiyan, the Ambassador to Germany, Abu Zafar, the Ambassador to the UAE, and Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad, the High Commissioner to Malaysia.

According to the notifications, these diplomats have been transferred to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka. They have been directed to relinquish their current duties and return to Dhaka immediately. However, the specific reasons for these transfers have not been disclosed by the ministry. This sudden recall has sparked speculation regarding the motivations behind the decision, but no official statement has been made to clarify the situation.
