Dhaka, August 30 - The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has recently transferred 28 officers, including those holding the ranks of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Police and Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Police, to different positions within the department. Additionally, four police inspectors have been appointed as Officers-in-Charge (OCs) in various police stations across the capital.
According to a statement released by the DMP's Media and Public Relations Department on Friday, the following appointments were announced:
Md. Amirul Islam has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamrangirchar Police Station.
Md. Mokammel Haque has been assigned to Rupnagar Police Station as OC.
Mohsin Uddin is now the OC of New Market Police Station.
Md. Abdul Aleem has been transferred to Cantonment Police Station as OC.
These transfers and postings are part of the DMP's routine administrative process aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in maintaining law and order in Dhaka. The newly assigned officers are expected to assume their responsibilities immediately and work towards ensuring public safety and upholding the law in their respective jurisdictions.
