Dhaka, Oct 17 (V7N) – A joint operation was carried out under the leadership of the army to restore law and order on the 300 Feet Road in Khilkhet, Dhaka. The operation, conducted in collaboration with traffic police and the local police station, took place on Thursday night from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the check post area.

During the operation, a total of 136 cases were filed, and fines amounting to Tk 2,34,500 were imposed. Authorities arrested 12 individuals for various offenses, including drug consumption, obstruction of government work, and disobeying traffic signals.

In addition to the arrests, 27 motorcycles and 2 private cars were seized. The arrested individuals, along with the seized vehicles, were handed over to Khilkhet police station for legal action.

The joint operation aimed to ensure public safety and maintain order in the busy area.
