Dhaka, Nov 25 (V7N)— A low-pressure system over the Southeast Bay of Bengal remains concentrated in the same area and may intensify further, according to the latest forecast from the Department of Meteorology. The extension of this system stretches to the northern Bay of Bengal, signalling possible changes in weather conditions.

The forecast, issued for the next 72 hours from Monday morning, predicts:

Weather: Predominantly dry with partly cloudy skies across the country.

Temperature: Slight drops in day and night temperatures are anticipated.

Fog: Light to moderate fog may occur in some areas from late night to early morning.

On Tuesday, weather conditions are expected to remain similar, with dry skies and scattered light to moderate fog during the late-night and early-morning hours.

For Wednesday, the forecast suggests no significant change in night and day temperatures. Dry conditions with temporary partly cloudy skies will likely persist.

However, the extended five-day forecast hints at the possibility of rainfall, which could impact various regions.

Residents, especially in coastal areas, are advised to monitor updates closely as the low-pressure system may evolve and affect local weather patterns.
